下記の方法がモイスチュアブラストと並行して行われています。
１）まず、塩分を除去する。
２）防錆剤で防錆するということです。
塩分量が多い場合は、モイスチュアブラストの時に塩分を除去するCHLOR*RIDを水に入れて
モイスチュアブラストしてそのあとに、HOLD*BLASTを水に入れて、研削材を停止してHOLD*BLASTを水に混入したものだけでモイスチュアブラスト機でそのままリンスします。
これが、できるのが弊社のシステムだけです。
＊海外のミストブラスト、モイスチュアブラスト、ダストレスブラスト装置は現在、クレムコ社以外は第一種および第二種圧力容器の取得が必要であり、＊注）違反した場合”使用者”に最高懲役2年および罰金50万円が課せられます。（＊注）日本ボイラー協会 に確認）
Holding the Blast with HOLD*BLAST
Conditions for surface preparation of oil field equipment refurbishing:
Location: Sturgeon, Bakersfield, CA
Carbon steel.
Blast equipment: Clemco moisture blaster .
Blast media: Red Garnet, #80 grit.
1:50 dilution. Dilution rate as recommended in the manufacturer’s directions.
Dilution with (Culligan) deionized water.
2 to 2.5 mil profile.
Experienced blasting operators.
Ambient conditions: Ave. temp.: 85°F; ave. humidity: 28%; ave. dew point: 44°F
HOLD*BLAST 5 gallon pail:
A heavily used piece of oil field service equipment for tank cleaning and maintenance owned by a
major oil company was let to Sturgeon for modification, upgrading, and recoating. Surface
preparation started on July 22, 2015 after welding of new structural framework. Below is a picture of the equipment after modifications and moisture abrasive blasting with HOLD*BLAST.
Before application of HOLD*BLAST, surfaces should always be tested to assure soluble salt levels meet or are below the acceptable level. (Testing after the application of a passivation [flash rust prevention]treatment may mask the presence of surface salts under the blanketing layer formed.) High levels of soluble salts can cause premature coating failure and degradation of the substrate. Should high salt levels be encountered, it is strongly recommended to perform the KANTOU ASCON moisture abrasive blasting machine with CHLOR*RID added to the water in a 1:100 dilution, followed by a rinse down with HOLD*BLAST added to the rinse water in a 1:50 dilution.
